When I am importing data and the contacts already exist, and I do not map certain fields that I don't want to update, the data that is in the system should not be deleted. This is the most ridiculous function I've ever come across.

For example, I validated the email addresses in the system, but wanted to update some fields for my data and the email validation status has been deleted now. Why would anyone make a system behave like this I cannot understand.

Please fix this because this makes no sense at all and makes data management very difficult and messy.
