Reply.io currently limits Contact Stages to eight, which makes it difficult to accurately track real-world sales outcomes and reporting. Adding a small number of additional stages would significantly improve pipeline visibility and data quality without adding complexity.
Specifically, it would be helpful to add stages such as:
Proposal Sent – to clearly identify contacts actively reviewing an offer
Budget Constraints – to distinguish “not now due to budget” from lack of interest
No Longer With Company – to maintain clean data and avoid misclassifying contacts as unresponsive
These stages would allow teams to better analyze why deals stall, improve follow-up strategy, and generate more meaningful reporting over time.
